I’ve bored you before about my penchant for stealing from my offspring. Nothing is sacred. Easter eggs (they don’t need that many), nail varnish (my stepdaughter has some cracking shades these days), money (I’m joking, although there was that time I was short of bus fare and I raided a piggybank). Bad mummy.
I don’t feel that bad about pinching their products though. I usually bought them anyway. And when it’s a cracker like this one that works equally well for all of us, everyone’s a winner. That’s what I’m going to tell the lads down the station, anyway.
Paul Mitchell’s Kids Taming Spray (£5.95) from www.lookfantastic.com
The toddler hates having his hair rinsed in the bath. I tend to pussyfoot around this, applying sneaky dribbles here and there, while my husband goes for tough love with an enormous measuring jug. He’s equally unimpressed by both our methods. Which is one of the reasons this product is such a godsend for his curly, easily tangled hair. (Wonder where he got that from?)
A leave-in spray conditioner, it takes away the need for another unwelcome rinse in the bath, and provides easy detangling on dry or damp hair. You can also use it on ‘bed-heads’ in the morning – handy as the toddler often wakes up with a barnet like Sharon Osbourne. And for me? Loving it as a detangler to help me comb through after a wash, before my styling product – but it’s also a great pick-me-up to freshen your hair, as it smells gorgeous. And all for under six quid. Well done Paul, I say.
